Opening the season/Concession info

Hello all! For those who will be working Concession Stand shifts, please sign up at http://signup.com/go/2X5arw. Please read the information provided. If you do not show up or reschedule 24 hours in advance, your $75 deposit check will get cashed. We don't wait on that....Although we understand things come up, we need people to help us stay current and keep the right number of workers in the concession stand. It makes things go smoother plus we can maximize profits. Please help us with these efforts! More shifts will be added as the schedule gets finalized. If a game/shift gets rained out, we DO NEED YOU TO MAKE UP THE SHIFT. It will be your responsibility to reschedule.
You will need to turn in your concession stand deposit check for $75 to receive your uniform. The uniforms will be in soon, and we will let you know when pick up times. No uniforms will be given out to players or parents or coaches without the deposit check turned in. We do not take debit/credit for deposit. If you do not have a check, please put $75 cash in an envelope for us to hold. We will return it once two shifts are completed.
Opening Day will be Saturday, 4/22/17 for all Little League and Girls Softball players. That's right, we are teaming up with them for the parade and opening ceremonies! We will meet at the fairgrounds at 8 AM on 4/22/17 by the brick building. The parade will start promptly at 8:30 AM. The opening ceremonies will happen on our major league diamond by the newly renovated concession stand immediately after the parade. The first games begin at 10:30 AM that morning. We will be on a tight schedule to get it all in, so please help us by being prompt that day.
Raffle tickets will need to be turned in before opening ceremonies on 4/22/17. We will announce winners at the ceremonies which is directly after the parade. You're welcome to drop them off at the concession stand in the container at any practice or that morning, but please be sure you have them turned in before the ceremonies that morning. Winners do not have to present to win that day.
The team picture schedule is online on our league website. All players are to have plain grey pants this year.
One final piece of information -- April 15 -- please mark your calendars for field day. We need to prep our fields for play!! We need your help!! We will be cleaning the concession stand that day as well. If you work on field day, it counts as a concession stand shift. You can sign up for this on the site listed above. There will also be a Ford Drive event on opening day, and we will need volunteers for that as well. If you sign up for that it counts for a concession stand shift, too. More information about that fund raiser will be coming later. It is a GREAT way to help our league. Just drive a car and Brad Howell Ford donates money to the league. Easy, right?! They will be set up on opening day 4/22/17 for that. K-Sadillas will also be serving their awesome food on opening day, Vickers will be selling t-shirts, and lots of things are planned for that day. We're getting excited to start the season! Get out there and throw and catch with your kiddos when it gets warm enough!
